The thing is, that most of us do look for romance and love, so how come we have so lil of it in our life?
Guys use BS because it’s easier. Its rare that both sides will agree upfront to have a shag & fag and say good night. As to the big WHY, it can be for many reasons. To name a few: One doesn’t know what one want; One aims too high or too low;One will not work on the relationship cause he/ she can find another in no time
Take your pick :)
hmmmmm... nothing there to fit me... i'll guess i'll have to find my own reasons some how.
between you and me, i dont get the aiming thing or the fact that one doesnt know what he wants... it sounds ridiculous to me.
but hey, what do i know?!
the truth I don't even get the can find onther one in no time, surely the point is to share your life with one person and not move around?
in fact all of these reasons are not ones I know women consider......
it seems like they are picking melons in the supermarket instead of falling in love and having a relationship......
but sadly I think everything he said is true.....men are so weird

While Wicked summarized the story pretty good, I will add that the fault is on both sides as it takes two to play the no-moral game.Aside from that, I must say there is a contradiction in terms in your header. If you are implying that British chicks are more decent then Israeli girls you have no know clue which side of the knickers to look at.In every expat community around the globe, the leading force for partying and boozing up are the brits. And thank god for that.
Of course it goes both ways, i do tend to have some fun every now and than, but hey... i dont wrap it up in BS, which is more common with guys than gals.

it was obvious that someone would write that.....
just as Israeli's have a reputation for being rude, english women have a reputation for getting drunk and being sluts....
I have news for you...these women are considered rather lower class in the UK> and usually marry football hooligans.....
and the header is a quote from a famous 1960's comedy called
'No sex please, we're british' which was all about how sexually shy the british are.....
so yes there you are......
the post not about any of that....
it's about romance in the modern age.....
now can you answer the question : in an age of internet is romance dead?
Fair play. I’ll try answering your Q: I’ts different strokes for different folks. On one hand, I know people who met via the internet and live happily ever after. It’s all about that magical match. On the other, the problem with using the internet to find love starts with one’s perception of who the other person is. The concepts of first impression and attraction which are essential for that initial romantic attachment are left to the imagination and we all know what that does. Then there is the issue of fake endless selection. People do not really put an effort because they have the perception that tomorrow there will be a better deal. So there you have it.
i have no idea if to be honest. but what i do know, which is quite lil, is that J-date and all the rest does not work for me.
i guess i'll stick to my sweet fantasy, corner of a street rainy day, you bump into me, well not you, you, well you catch my drift.
I hope it works out for you, it seems to me that there are not that many rainy days and the guys are always waiting to see what's round the next street corner.....hehe
but yes your right some of us will stick to our fantasies....otherwise we'll all loose hope......

I dont think it has something to do with TLVper-se but you can feel it here a lot more than in other places.
I think it derives from the "instant generation" that we are.
Romance got cheap and hard to find since you have to invest in it... Why bother when you can skedaddle to the next bed with a blink of an eye. Why waste time if it so scarce! So many things to do, to achieve, too many check boxes of thrills and experiences which creates so much BS...
Bummer, but this is the face of our generation.
you know I think you got it.....
this whole sms, chat, internet dating generation.....
it's like ordering sex online
there's no build up, no true romances.....
click, send and wink and your done......
well I think it maybe time to move to less hightech places before they get broadband.....hehe
but really what now? the world is going to seed.....

but I don't think sex should ever be the agenda....
I also like sex, but isn't it better to have loved and lost then not to have loved at all.....
you don't have to answer me today, wait a few days.....kisses
honey I don't know either.....
of course it's ok
Sometime romancing will get you nowhere.
thing is, when it doesnt work out and you put the effort, it feels much worse than just trying to get into somebody's knickers and getting rejected.
i dont know.
is that ok?
the most important question of them all.

כן. גם אני מבכה את אובדנה פה, אם יסתבר לי שזה נגיף מקומי, בחיי שאני אורזת ונוסעת.

Maybe in a place where you could blow up any day, you don't care so much about romance and taking it slow......
maybe your in a hurry?
yes to what? That romance is dead?
I don't know it's not as dominant in the uk....men are still quite romantic.....
yes I know you told me the other day, and it got me thinking maybe I am living in the worst city to find love in the world......
it's all so shallow here
so what now? I don't want to move.....
I do believe the Answer is Yes
But this is somthing that Happens all around the globs
Not onley in israel I think
a tel aviv thing
מדוייק.
בדיוק בגלל זה אני לא עוברת לעיר הזו.
הפריצות חוגגת.
פה אני בבועה הנאיבית שלי. ככה טוב לי.
really I am never looking for anything but romance.......
and yet I find a lot of the other.....
I promise you it wasn't the case in the UK.....
it might be a tel aviv thing?
I think it depends on you...
If you'll looking for romance you may find it, although it's a bit more difficult to get it, it's easier to get sex
