    Once a year they come, and their bags are full of gifts that remind me of home. My favorite magazines, food, creams and spices. And together we go and see our family in the south....and I am asked again and again why I am not married and what I do in Tel Aviv, by people who got married at the age of 12, and don't like my dog. And we smile politely, and wisper across the table, in English, about how bored we are. Tommorrow we will go swimming. And day will run into night and be followed by day.....and the time will pass ever so slowley.... but we will enjoy every moment stolen together alone.

    And then before we know it, it will end, just as I got used to them being around. I will be alone once more.

     

    My family are over for their annual 2 week holiday.

     

    Shame it can't just be us. Instead we waste our precious time visiting 400 relatives who's names we don't even know....what a drag.

      As long as they spend at least one night in TA with me, that's always the most fun bit of the visit....and then we can finally get away from all the boring relatives....

       

      we are planning a fun night at my house, without parents.....me and my little siblings (see photo) tonight I hope....
