Just because trading volume as decreased doesn't mean the uptrend is over. Yes, it makes the upmove suspect, but you still trade the trend.
The weakening dollar and potential "hyper" inflation makes any upmove suspicious. According to President Obama policies since February have "brought the economy from the brink". That may be so, but we're still standing on an narrow and crumbling ledge that can give way - this upmove is sentimental with uncertain and mixed fundamental data.
Consumer confidence is due tomorrow, look to the result to help the markets continue the uptrend or fall back to an expected range.
Summary: the trend remains bullish to stagnant (slow moving) most positions should reflect that expectation.
