השיר Fading Starנכתב בהשראת כתבה של תכנית התחקירים "עובדה", בה הובא סיפורה של עינת גבע ז"ל (אין קירבה משפחתית לניר גבע – סולן הלהקה), נערה צעירה כבת 16 ששמה קץ לחייה. הכתבה היתה מבוססת בעיקר על צילומי וידאו , בהם ניתן היה לראות נערה צעירה, יפהפיה ומוכשרת. למראית עין הכל היה נראה בסדר וכמו במקרים טראגיים דומים אף אחד לא יכול היה לנחש את מה שעתיד לקרות.
