I met him on a European dating site. I was looking for someone French or Spanish. He was English. We chatted on Msn for a few months. When I was next in London we met up for a drink, but after an hour I had to go. He was ok looking, and called Dave.

Once back in Israel I started dating a musician, on the night that ended, upset, I hooked up with Dave on Msn, I suggested we upgrade to Skype and after an hour of talking, I asked him if he wanted to go to Madrid with me in May (it was Feb). He seemed a little shocked, and said we didn’t really know each other, I said that wasn’t true we had met once. I really wanted to go to Madrid. He said ok then.

For 3 months we talked everyday on Skype. It was really fun, we had tons in common. Meanwhile I started dating a guy in Paris.

The night before Madrid, Dave and I talked and I happened to mention I was in Paris, visiting my boyfriend and that was that……….

The entire trip was ruined. Dave hardly spoke to me the whole 6 days (with the exception of the last night, when he got drunk and started confessing his feelings). The next day as we packed, he said he never wanted to see me again.

4 months later, I caught him by accident on Msn, and told him I was moving to London. A day before I flew to London, I called him up and asked him if he fancied going to Rome? He said if I was the last woman on the planet, he wouldn't go away with me again.

3 days later we were in Rome……and yes, he wasn't speaking to me again.......when we got back, he said it was over for good this time.

But instead, we lived together for a year and a half, travelled lots, and had many adventures, then I asked him to move to Israel........... seemed I went too far......

Dave now lives in London and has a new 'normal' girlfriend.

And I, well I have Israel.......
