Today is Valentines Day, and I had a date. I have been talking all week with this guy online, on the phone all that stuff, and then we finally got round to meeting. He was early and I was a little late. He was less handsome and a lot older looking then I thought but he was cute. He certainly seemed happy to see me, although I am sick and I think I looked like death warmed up. But he said I looked nice. We had a coffee, talked. Then we got up and decided to go to a pub, he grabbed me and kissed me on the cheek. It was a bit weird. Once in the pub I did polite conversations and asked about his family and stuff. Oops he started telling me and it seems his family is a bad subject to bring up. He then declared I was the kind of girl he could really go for and 5 minutes later said he had to go, and left me in the pub.  

On the way home, a bit confused, I received a text telling me he knows he wants me, it's now my decision. This was followed by a few more text messages telling me I need to know what I want. I tried to say, in several ways that I would need to know him better / more time / not to be rushed. But he insisted I should know straight away (like him).

He then asked if I had the opportunity would I make love to him. I said no I don't know him.  

An hour later he said we could never be together because 'A relationship with someone who is unsure is emotional suicide. Goodbye and good luck'  

Sorry is this normal for a first date….. (shit I don't know after a year )
