I have noticed a tradition here of people writing about their experiences in our little virtual café, and I decided I would throw my penny in. Well let’s see, firstly sorry about all the photo changes but it took awhile for me and the powers that be to decide on a photo. Apparently they demand clarity although they allow some more freedom then others. Secondly, thank you to my super list of friends each one a star and I am now slowly getting round to talking to each one of them, although there’s more of them then time in the day…..

What do I bring and what do I want to take? Well I can tell you right now politics and business are not my cup of tea (get it?). In fact I am really only interested in people writing about themselves and photos. Yea maybe you think it’s shallow, maybe you think discourse is all the rage in cafes these days. But I say no way, I would rather hear about someone’s desperate loneliness, or drug addiction then why the advertising world is crumbling. Real life is so much more interesting. And friendships are built on being truthful and open…..so let it rip.

As for me, well I have been burdened with the gift of ‘speaking my mind’ and never sounding intellectual. I am open and often left quite venerable ….I am the kid that offered you sweets on your first day at school, and everyone always thinks is a bit odd, until they get to know you better.

I am particularly pleased to finally be meeting talented and remarkable women, who I never get to talk to outside the café normally. It does seem like an opportunity to meet more creative’s…..I think I’ll mingle…….

and by the way….mine is a de-café cappuccino.
