MARCH FOR JUSTICE
The flag waves right and left Because it means something To all the sides of the road; And the sun gives light to all.
Sometimes a shoe hurts hard And a heart can break inside. When we see good values Threatened by false democracy.
The sky is blue and is steady And the bushes move gently. There is sense in a long runway, The road we travel straight.
Olive trees are full to the side, They carry permanent generosity. Yes, there is a government above And its laws make sense around.
Policemen on the road guard The marchers from harm anywhere. Kindness takes many forms in blue And to watch good order agrees.
Teenagers are carrying handbags With Torah bibles, they proclaim Strongly that we are not prisoners, But free people in this our land.
A spot of calm as the feet obey They choose to march on in bands. No steel clamp of unjust directives Can stop the slogans that carry weight.
Young people and old do care enough Such that they cover a distance in the sun. Because God will not abandon His people Asking legislators for a blend of courage.
A scarf and a hat can gather wings, Righteous wings of blue and white. Let their wearers enter good deeds In the ledgers, to open the gates.
Justices need to straighten curves, What is crooked thinking, to be truth. From their watchtowers they ought To bless the root of palm tree fields.
The very stones cry for justice Against metallic draconian decrees. There is no shortcut better than logic, Let is prime to keep homes in buildings.
As a flash will come God’s salvation, He is our good bread and satisfies. There is no compromise to the stars They give their word babies will not cry.
