With the rise in popularity of TED.com, “Speaking Like a TED Speaker” has become the new standard of speaking globally. In Israel, TEDxTelAviv launched “TED Fever”, and spawned close to a dozen TEDx and TED like events. This year Israeli speakers have become a common fixture at the TED Conferences with Lior Zoref speaking at TED earlier this year, and Shimon Shoken speaking at TED Global just last month.
But despite it’s easy to digest format, speaking like a TED Speaker requires something different than delivering a "normal" speech, and even highly experienced speakers can get tripped up by the differences.
In this encounter, speaking experts Abigail Tenembaum and Michael Weitz of TAI Israel, will share (and have you practice) some of the key tools and principles that great TED speakers use to create and deliver their talks.
