I never considered myself a "designer's cloth" person.
I got along just fine with the big commercial chain's products.
The problem was that too many people seem to like the same things I do and they were copying me! Well maybe that was just the outcome. It turned out that since I bought my cloth and accessories in the big chains stores (and so are all the people I know...) I later met some of the items.... hanging on other women!
On several occasions I ended up wearing the same outfits as some other women in the room, and that let me tell does not do good to a woman.
We like to be special and you can't do that if you look the same as some other ladies around you...( not to mention the fact ,and I deny it already , that some ladies even look better while wearing My cloth) .
God forbid.
Therefore, I needed a solution and that is how I discovered young emerging fashion designers and their products. Fashion designed cloth are commonly expensive. Especially if it is a well-known brand.
However, if come across a young, starting, fashion designer that is talented and promising but not yet (too) famous, you can get excellent items for reasonable prices and above all – stay unique. So not only I found new fresh pieces of outwear, I am now most of the time "one of a kind". I do not meet my cloth anywhere else, but on me!
I am Special again.
Not only that. But since I wear cloth that are not widely seen, my friends keep asking me where I bought it and how they can find it too, so that makes me even more special (that is why I never tell them where I bought it....well , maybe some).
