Mind Maze- Best escape room in Prague

    0 תגובות   יום שלישי, 11/7/17, 18:48

At the middle of June we visited one of the most romantic cities in Europe- Prague!

As I define myself as escape room enthusiast, I knew that this trip will not be complete without playing in at least one escape room.

We choose to play at the most recomended place, which is MindeMaze site.

    ''

For tourist I can say that this place is most easy to find (nearby Pavlova metro station).

We got into a very nice and clean reception; there we met lovely Krisztina which was our operator and she is also the owner of the place.

    ''

She gave us a short safety brief and explained about the room theme and our mission.

MindMaze operates 2 rooms: Enigma and The Alchemist and soon will have a new game "Galactic Pioneers", so stay tunedJ

We were two players with experience of 22 and 16 rooms.

I will start my review with Enigma:

The era is World War II.

Our enemies are about to complete to build a new technology submarine.

Our mission is to find the submarine blueprint from enemy's base and to destroy them.

    ''

First we entered to the room we already felt like we are in a military base due to the room decoration that actually let you feel like you are back there in the 40s'.

The first puzzle was so much fun and required an out of box thinking.

The props and the puzzles were all representing the theme in a very good and a cool way.

As I don’t want to spoil the surprise effect, I will not add anything else but only will say that the last puzzles were very nice and new to me and I really enjoyed solving them.

    ''

To summarize our experience: With 1 clue we manage to escape within 47 minutes! With a very big smile on our faces! It was so much fun!

    ''

The day after we came back, moving on to the second room "The Alchemist", which is a double room (two teams can play at the same game simultaneously)

We were the same team- two players with experience of 23 and 17 rooms.

    The Alchemist:

As I'm a chemist in my profession, I was very excited to play in a room with a theme that close to my heart…

The story behind this room is leaning on an old ancient legend at the 16th century, in which the famouse alchemist Michael Sendivogius lived in prague.

He searched the Philosopher’s Stone, in order to transform metal into precious gold.

    ''

Legend has it that the stone has been found by him and still hidden in a secret chamber waiting to be discovered…

The room decoration was very nice and served the theme in a good way.

The props and furniture was keeping us running around trying to solve the puzzles.

Most of the puzzles were logical and some of them were original (such that I didn’t saw in other rooms).

We spent 20 minutes trying to solve something that was not yet to be solved and in addition we didn’t realize that one of the signs is actual sign (it looked to me as a "do not touch" warning sign) so I disregard it… just after asking for a hint from the operator, I quickly understood the place that we were stucked on…

    ''

One of the puzzles reminded me a lab work and it was so much fun!

At last we managed to escape after 55 min with 1 clue.

The total experience at MindMaze was really fun for us & we enjoyed visiting the place which is most recommended!
