סאסאזו - מסעדה אסיאתית מומלצת בפראג SaSaZu- Best Asian restaurant in Prague

    2 תגובות   יום רביעי, 19/7/17, 11:11

Last month, my "other half" celebrated his birthday! For this occasion we flew to Prague

.Prague has many attractions, sites, shopping and restaurants to offer

.I was aiming to have the best of all

This was the reason that in the specific date of BD it was important to me having a dinner in a chic place with a very good food

Doing a research before the flight in some relevant Facebook groups,  got into conclusion that the best place will be SaSaZu- Michelin star restaurant that will take you to a magical journey of tastes in

    the Asian food culture

At first I would like to say that the service, form the point of reservation at the website, and on the restaurant itself was just excellent

    ''

When we entered to the place it was like "wow"! The design of the space is so unique with a look alike Asian traditional paper light balls and few stages that divide the space to different sitting areas. In addition there was a DJ playing good vibe music

We were sited not far from the open window kitchen, that you can actually see what is going on inside, this always makes me relaxed to see that my food is treated well

Next thing was that one of the waiters handed us a leaf to rub our hands just like soap and then a hot towels to clean it. That was very nice ceremony that actually makes you feel like you are, even for a moment, in Asia

We started with drinks "Cheers" or as we prefer to say "Le'haim"

My drink was Ginger Tini - gin, ginger, coconut, apple, chilli , a great peering to f

    Asian food

    ''

My "other half" drink was SaSaZu Ice Tea - tequila, gin, vodka, rum, lychee, curacao, mango, served in a special bottles for self-mixing, so nice as you can see below

    ?So let's start eating! Ready

The restaurant is based on sharing style, so the best thing to do is to order more dishes which are served in the middle of the table and can be shared. That is perfect way to try more flavours of amazing dishes by the executive head chef Andy Tan

We were having off course the tasting menu which is the best way to extract the best things that the  restaurant has to offer, and to have the full experience of tasts

    Thai Papaya Salad

.Green papaya, mango, coriander, Thai beans, cashew, lemon grass, lime chilli sauce, krupuk

A good and light start that makes you want more

    ''

    Coconut Corn Soup

.Chicken, green chilli, noodle, basil, yakitori

As the taste of corn can be too sweet, the addition of chilli kicked this dish taste! It was warm and comforter and sassy at the same time

    ''

    Sasa Crispy Roll

.The specialty of the house! Tuna salmon roll in nori, wasabi, black sesame sauce

The roll was very special and even though I'm not a big fan of fishes, this total dish was excellent

I have to say that I have never tasted wasabi sous, so in this dish I was surprised and alarmed from the high level of the sous hot taste but after 2 seconds it was disappearing like magic … it was something to laugh about

    ''

    Hong Kong Roll
Hong Kong style rice paper roll, crispy cod fish, cucumber, onion, peanuts, mint, apple-kiwi sauce

The Crispy cod fish gives a fun crunchy bite to the roll

    ''

    CHA–ZU–RHA
Chicken and banana roll, vietnamese herbs, fried onion, lettuce, carrot-coriander sauce
    ''
This is a kind of DYI dish, in which you take the lettuce, put one or more of each herb/ingrdient
inside, and on the top of it the fried roll, then deep it in the sauce, and here you have a very enjoyable
    dish
    ''
    Bombay Butter Vega
Yoghurt, garam masala, lemon, falafel with edamame, coriander, tortilla

As I love Insian food, this dish was great and tastey

    ''

    Indochina Duck Salad
Duck, long beans, garlic, spring onion, unagi-shiitake sauce
    ''

    Beef Rendang

Indonesian beef, foie gras, coconut, tandoori mint bread, Lao Ma Gan chilli sauce
    ''

Desserts Finally, even though we are fully booked ;-)

    Creme Brulee

    ''

    Coconut Tiramisu

    ''

sweet and tasty deserts, great end to this lovely and unforgetable meal
