In a land far far away, in the not so distant future, there was a kingdom called Rael. And in this enchanted white and crystal paradise lived Princess N. The wisest and most beautiful ruler in the land. Her kindness was unmatched by any other and her subjects adored her. One day a stranger arrived. On the face of it OZ (the stranger in question) appeared to be very amiable. She had nothing striking about her, she spoke very little and to those who didn't know her she seemed quite sweet. OZ made her way to Princess N’s castle (near Nordo), and tapped at her gate. Because Princess N was known never to turn anyone away, she had no use for guards or servants. She showed OZ in and gave her refreshments after her long journey. OZ told Princess N of her many adventures. And although Princess N was tired, she listened attentively. When night had fallen, OZ bid her farewell and went on her way, but promised to be back now and again to visit. And so began an odd friendship. OZ would suddenly appear and sit awhile, talk and then leave. Sometimes she would bring something good to smoke. And Princess N fed her and listened. She didn’t know what to make of OZ but she did not want to appear rude. Until one day, OZ arrived enraged at Princess N’s castle. She didn’t stop screaming and crying. Princess N tried to understand what had happened. OZ, told her that one of her subjects had refused her shelter. Oz was furious. Princess N could do nothing to calm her. But it didn't end, OZ’s unpleasant outbursts began to occur weekly. And each time Princess N sat and listened. Soon it was apparent that OZ was blaming Princess N for the way other people were treating her. That she wanted Princess N to punish them. Princes N was much troubled by all this and reluctantly decided she would have to banish OZ from Rael. The moral of the story: Don’t let people you don’t really care about come to your house (even if they seem harmless and bring gifts). Because your time and kindness will be wasted on them, and at some point you will have to throw them out. This is part of the superhero's and fantasy posts (click blue to see) |

very deep....
well she kicked her out alright....
but shame she had to deal with all the negative stuff for such a long time
I work a little differently but basically the same. I let only people I really like into my home. I have no use for stam friends....
you know to hang out with that I don't find interesting or care about....
This story is actually about a friend of mine that didn't have such luck....and her kindness got the better of her......
sratim...kizoor
i made it a point to let only people i love into my home. it's my sanctuary, afterall.
to let people into the friendship corner of my heart is a lot more difficult. takes a while for that to happen. no matter what gifts they bring....
