It's not me, it's them!
She sat on the chair near the couch. She looked at me with those beautiful brown eyes of hers, full of disappointment. She remembered the hours we spent in cafes, laughing, eating fine food. The walks. She reflected for awhile about the weekend trips we would take with friends. The all night parties in nature, dancing barefoot while intoxicated on drugs and drink. The long mornings laying together in bed. The warm nights sitting outside, observing people and being happy in our silence…. It always seemed to her that it would last forever, that we would never change. And now, here we are two months already, since I joined, since I started moving away from her. We hardly talk, hardly go out. We have little in common. I am always involved elsewhere, she is always waiting for me......... My phone doesn’t stop ringing, my fingers don’t stop tapping, my mouth talking, my social invitations growing and my head shaking to the you tube beats…….. And she, she feels I just don’t love her anymore. With my sincere apologies to my dog – Yuko (who’s not that goodlooking and doesn’t even know how to find cool music links) |

My biggest fear is that one day I will come home and she would have eaten the ADSL cord.
