Shopping, men and shoes
I have been looking at men, ok just from a far, like a anthropologist (is that what they are called?). I have been busy trying to fill myself with romantic thoughts and I have a stack of chick flicks at my house, and I am going through them at incredible pace. All my friends think it’s time for me to get over my ex and move on. (I hate that word what am I parking in an illegal spot?) I am also trying to shop (all part of the healing)….but there’s nothing I need except for a new heart and big breasts (maybe I’ll save up). About the only thing I can buy are shoes, because as women know (and men don’t understand) you can always buy shoes…. And so as I walk amongst the shoe shops in Shenkin, I take a sneaky peak at the men walking by me. Occasionally I see someone that reminds me of him and then my heart flutters, and I get sad again. I know everyone thinks, I am a drama queen, that I have to let go (sounds a bit dangerous). You all saying he's a dick and you can do better, is leading me onto greater things I am sure..... But if it's ok, for now I will stick to buying shoes…. ...... and watching movies….where heartbreak is always followed by true love. Eventually who knows I might even be convinced |

I saw garden state in 2004 when I had a boyfriend in Paris, and at the end of the movie when he chooses natalie portman, I was hoping mine would choose me when we had our airport scene but he didn't......so I won't watch that one, too many associations....
great film though.

Yeah, down, real deep down, I'm a real softy.
However I appreciate the silly romantic comedy even more if they respect the audiences intelligence.
