DON’T MAKE A RUSH DECISIONS

You know its sucks. I made a decision to move to New York 9 years ago. It was after a 2 months vacation with my friend all over the U.S. I fell in love with NYC and decided that I have to move there and work as a graphic designer (which I accomplished).  My plan was to come here for a year and go back home. Life happens as you all know and I met my ex-husband and moved to California. I have a beautiful 5 year old daughter that I love more than anything in this world and when I got divorced 3 years ago my first reaction was to go back to Israel since all my family is there. My ex-husband’s reaction was “you can go BUT our daughter stays here cause I want her next to me”.  So now even though I live in a beautiful place it feels like prison since I can’t do what I want. (Well at least for the next 12 years until my daughter is 18 years old).   Now my mother was diagnosed with stage 3 Cancer and it kills me that I can’t be there and support her while she is going through the chemo and radiation. At least I got tickets for myself and my daughter to visit in June the day after she is out of school. So I’m hoping that my mom will get better by the time we get there and we’ll be able to spend some time together. SO MY ADVISE TO YOU IS TO THINK REALLY HARD ABOUT ALL THE SIRCUMSTANCES THAT MIGHT HAPPEN AND DON’T MAKE A RUSH DECISION JUST BECAUSE YOU FEEL LIKE IT. With LOVE,Sari.
