Today I am sending this email to many of my friends in Israel with the hope of spreading the word of Jerusalem ROCKS! <http://www.jerusalemrocks.com/>.

About 17 months ago I had a dream to create an event to bring international music artists to Jerusalem to be part of an International music festival which would include both Israeli artists and International artists. It had been over 20 years since an event like this had taken place in Jerusalem.

I’m not sure if you have heard, but this dream is now a reality and the event IS happening. The event is called “Jerusalem ROCKS!” And I am looking forward to being at Teddy Stadium in Jerusalem together with my co-founders: Jacob Ner-David, Carmi Wurtman and Yehuda Katz. And we are running this as a “not-for-profit” as our goal is to see this event happen, and not profit from it. In fact, all profits from this event will be put into a special endowment at the Jerusalem Foundation so we will have the seed capital needed to do this event again next year and in future years.

We will have a number of performers at Jerusalem ROCKS! including: Hadag Nahash, Arrested Development, The Commitments and The Black Eyed Peas. I am hopeful you or someone you know including some of your relatives and/or friends from abroad would be interested in attending our music festival. Tickets for the event are now on sale and can be purchased by visiting: <http://hadran.co.il/>. With your help, we are expecting this event to be “Sold-Out!”  Special VIP packages are available and include both backstage access, and access to our special Jerusalem ROCKS! after-party. I’m looking forward to returning to Israel in early September and being at Teddy Stadium on September 9th.
