In 2006 the baby product market (feeding bottles, dummies…) went through a crisis regarding carcinogenic chemicals in plastic baby bottles. The brand, who grew strong from it, was Medici. With its B-free bottles, which are made strictly from safe and stable materials, the brand was established as a medical authority in the market.
B-free bottles are also known for their low vacuum which helps prevent gasses, ear aches and food discharges. The original design was a very 'serious and medical' and it was suitable and reassuring for parents at the time. Almost 3 years has past, safe and stable material became the standard for the plastic feeding bottles and the 'serious medical' design was no longer needed and even turned in to a fault.
Medici wanted to redesign the plastic bottles, to make them happier, optimistic and more childish and colorful.
The new design brings the joy of parenting, the laughter and humor in doll shaped bottles. The new series includes bottles, dummies and transition cups, all in joyful colors that celebrates childhood and parenting.
