Job Description:

Architectural design to create a new product based on existing legacy product but also incorporating new features and technologies

Existing product is (mostly) C++ developed in MS Visual environment

Determination of appropriate architectural choices between traditional client-server, three tier, web-based, cloud technologies, etc.

Understanding of user requirements to incorporate existing and new functionality

Close work with product owner and user representatives

Making trade-offs between short and long term goals in re-architecting a legacy product and bringing it to market as quickly as possible

Requirements:

BS in computer science or software engineering – a Must

MSc - an advantage

At least 3 years as system architect or equivalent position

8  years programming experience

Experience and understanding of C++, C#, Windows, SQL, client-server systems

Understanding of web-based and cloud technologies

Experience and knowledge of medical information systems and/or medical devices is a plus
