Job Description:

Take full responsibility of our entire server farm (hundreds of servers); including production servers and db clusters as well as our backend Big Data NoSQL clusters. You will be responsible for everything from server installation and maintenance to monitoring, from security and network administration to DB management.
Take part in cutting edge Big Data infrastructure research and implementation.
Be inchargeof performance analysis and tuning of dozens of high scale distributed systems.

Requirements:

• High level Linux expertise

• At least 3 years of experience as linux system administrator or devops

• Strong scripting capabilities - required; python - advantage

• Experience with remote management of large server farms

• Experience with SQL databases - required; MySQL - advantage

• Experience with NoSQL databases (Cassandra especially) - advantage

• Experience with Load Balancing - required; haproxy - advantage

• Experience with monitoring services - required; munin & nagios - advantage

• Experience with web servers - required; apache, django & tomcat - advantage

• 24/7 availability by phone

• Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment in simultaneous projects

• Excellent organizational, communication and interpersonal skills; enjoy working in both individual and team settings

• Very High proficiency in both speaking and writing English
